December 7/10 Went to see the new bridge over the Hoover Dam We walked over the bridge called the Mike O'Callaghan/Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge. Pat Tillman was killed in Afganistan in 2002. Mike O"Callaghan was the design engineer of the bridge. It is 1920 feet long and 975 Ft above the water. We walked from Nevada to Arizona on the sidewalk. Spectacular!!!
Arizona Holiday
Finally, I have time to start my journal. We had a long and uneventful trip down to Yuma. It took us 12 days to reach our destination. Of course that included several stops along the wait to visit family.
