January 31, 2011 Yuma Army Proving grounds for all military equipment

1962  US Army overland train. Transports men & supplies to where ever needed. The car is made mainly of aluminum with an inital cost of $2,000,000. It is 565 ft in length with a payload of 150 tons.  It has living quarters to accomodate 6 men for up to 10 days.
Ray looks rather small by this giant.
Harley Davidson made 60,000 of these bikes for the US army for 2nd world war
This is the top of a war head with a timing device which is installed on a shell.
This is the cab and cars of the army overland train.
