2011-03-09 Saiati Camel Farm








We spent  the afternoon at this farm.  It was very interesting.  All kinds of animals and birds.
Some a little stranger than others and all of them hungry.



    This one is a ZEEDONK  (zebra & donkey)
Here is a baby camel.  7 months old and is just being weened, neight mom nor him are too impressed.
A south american guinea pig, a MARA
Ray was impressed with this ostrich.  I don't the feeling with mutual.
These EMU's were nasty critters.  Like to bite.
This one is for Scottie.  A WATUSI cattle. Horns are 5" in diameter, and average 29" long.
Baby 4 horned cross sheep/goat.. Neat little critters.
WATUSI cow.  About 5 years old.
Now this fellow was cool. She is a
SPURRED AFRICAN TORTOISE, 9 years old and weighs about 60 pounds.
